Team Adventure projected finish:

Team Adventure, Entertainment Extreme - in the Straits of Gibraltar
Team Adventure is now in the Strait of Gibraltar but has slowed down drastically in a high-pressure system, stretching across the top of north Africa and into the southern Mediterranean.

Lewis: Wind predictions are good to Gib, then we will have to get lucky to get to Mallorca with pace. The Med is the Med and we will play the game as best we can. The first reef is dead at the outboard end. It's a shame as it's the only failure we have had on the sails with the exception of battens breaking. Last night we lost the final reinforcements and had to sail with two reefs for a while. A small loss in speed, but that's the game."

Warta Polpharma projected finish:

Those Fabulous Poles - Fortaleza in a few hours
Warta Polpharma is 200 miles outside of Fortaleza, Brazil.

Yann Penformis from the Multiplast yard is supervising the repairs and has suggested that three days may be enough. If this is the case she may put back into the race. After coming so far, how could they not try. These fabulous sailors that are bringing the sailing fever to Poland have done us proud and will get a hero's welcome from Marseille, no matter when they arrive.

Team Legato projected finish:

Team Legato - 'the Survivor's' - taking a very westerly course
The good news appears to be the Doldrums are very narrow at this point, allowing Team Legato to pass swiftly through and hook into the northeast trade winds. They are only 200 miles off of the coast of Brazil by the Martin Vaz islands, 400 miles south of Salvador de Bahia.

Bullimore, if Warta Polpharma manages to be repaired quickly: "It would be fantastic if they came back into the race just behind us, it would be a real race back to Marseilles!"

Team Legato must cover 359 miles each day to make the deadline of 20:56 GMT on Monday 2 April.
