Team Adventure, Entertainment Extreme - FINISHED!
Very satisfied with the behaviour of the boat, Cam Lewis and his crew are full of ambitions for the months to come, chief among which is an attempt on the east-west Atlantic crossing record between Cadiz and San Salvador, held since last summer by Club Med. Monster.com has decided to extend its partnership with the boat, becoming the team's main sponsor.

We commend The Race organizers!
The Race organizers have decided to leave the finishing line open to allow these two stragglers to finish, although they will not finish inside the time limit of 2 April. They will be declared as officially fourth and fifth places and will receive an official welcome in Marseille.

After what these fabulous sailors have contributed to the event, and their tenacity right to the end, we, as spectators will follow these two boats, and are pleased that the race organizers can appreciate their contributions, their heart and commitment.

Team Legato projected finish:

Team Legato - 'the Survivors' - crossed the equator 9:45 PM Sunday
Bullimore: "In effect, we are neck-and-neck. This could be a really close race all the way across the Atlantic and I can see us finishing in Marseilles on 7th or 8th April almost together."

Team Legato has covered 230.8 nm in the last 24 hours.
They are currently 3026 nm from the finish, which they must reach in 8 days.
To make the finish they must cover 378 miles per day.

Warta Polpharma projected finish:

Those Fabulous Poles - left two crew members in Fortaleza
Warta Polpharma left Fortaleza 3:30 PM on Saturday, short by two crewmembers when Richard Block and Piotr Cichocki failed medical tests.

Darius Drapella: "We are not under full sails yet because we are careful about the extent of the curing process [on the damaged hull]. We are getting the advantage of 29C/84F air temperature and an overhead sun, which is speeding up the curing process of the epoxy resin. From a human point of view, the boat is still a teenager. It’s fully recovered. We’ve just kept the charts we need. We left a sail and spare parts which we don’t intend to use and, as you know, two crew."

"Piotr Cichocki is in hospital, under perfect care. He is improving fast now he is receiving the correct treatment. He has the chance not to force his knee anymore. He didn’t like to be treated as a passenger during The Race and he worked even when we didn’t want him to work. He took all the watches and this is why his healing process was so slow."
Piotr Cichocki is suffering from abscesses to his left leg. It is unkonwn at this time what has caused Richard Block to not continue, although it has been specified as 'for medical reasons'.

Warta Polpharma has covered 282.7 nm in the last 24 hours.
They are currently 3166 nm from the finish, which they must reach in 8 days.
To make the finish they must cover 396 miles per day.
