Warta Polpharma projected finish:

Those Fabulous Poles - Gibraltar by Sunday

Warta Polpharma has just taken 4th place, and is sailing in southwesterly winds, they have just skirted the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores.

Paszke needs to get onto the northerly side of this Azores high pressure area and benefit from the westerly winds of about 10 knots, hopefully increasing towards the weekend as the wind changes to northwesterly.

Team Legato projected finish:

Team Legato - 'the Survivors' - will arrive at 8 AM Thursday
Everything is ready in Las Palmas for the repairs.

Team Legato has been delayed due to 25-30 knot headwinds. They have had to put a reef in the main to limp along with the damaged mast.

In La Ciotat, Club Med's mast was unstepped at noon today and she should be hauled out of the water by the end of the day. The manouvre was directed by Franck Proffit himself, urgently, as the wind was seriously picking up, which could have compromised the dismasting operation, which is always delicate with a wing mast this tall.
