At this point Team Dinghy Shop has already started the 10th leg to Atlantic Beach. The winds are from the NNE at about 9 knots. We started in 17th and this means a second row start with a 1 minute penalty. Team Castrol immediately tacked to the beach after starting looking for the shore lift. As the coast curves, it may be shorter to sail the rhumb line to Atlantic Beach (68 degrees magnetic) than to follow the shore that starts at 40 degrees. We also feel that the wind will shift to the right during this leg.

Our stay last night was at Blockade Runner This is one of the nicest resorts along the tour and they provided both dinner and a huge breakfast to the Worrell 1000 participants.
