Team Dinghy Shop - An All Canadian Team: Equipment

Equipment required for the Worrell 1000 is extensive. Following is some of the equipment that Team Dinghy Shop has for this Extreme race.

• one Inter 20 performance catamaran (official boat for the event) - supplied by The Dinghy Shop
• one set of sails - supplied by The Dinghy Shop
• two spinnakers - supplied by The Dinghy Shop
• cat dolly - supplied by Spootride Dollies
• boat trailer - supplied by Spootride Dollies
• two Epirbs with strobes - supplied by ACR
• two VHF radios water proof
• one GPS
• Tactic digital compass
• sailing gear i.e. wet suits, dry suits - some of which was provided by The Dinghy Shop and Ronstan

The shore crew needs repair equipment and tools to be able to fix on the spot any damage that has occured after a leg. The preparation in parts, supplies and tools alone is extensive.

Kevin Tuulos, owner of Tuulos Boat Works is a critical member of the team coming with his own repair equipment.
